Cash Recovery Report
Find the money leaking out of your business accounts.
A fixed-fee review of your bank, card and processor statements. Five business days, fifteen minutes of your time, and a documented list of what you can recover.
We analyse your statements free and show you what we found before you pay. Already sure?
Who this is for
This only makes sense if you run $20k+ a month through your business accounts. Below that the math doesn't work.
A person reads it, and a person walks you through it.
Fee-audit tools scan your processor statements and take a share of what they find. One of the Ryze founders reads all twelve months of every account, then walks you through the findings on a call. Flat $500, refunded if we find less.
Two guarantees
We find at least $500 a year in recoverable cash, or you don't pay.
That is the price of the report. If what we find comes to less, you get a full refund and you keep the findings.
Annualized, recoverable, and provable from your own statements.
Delivered in 5 business days, or you don't pay.
The clock starts the moment your statements land, not when you pay. Most people upload the same day.
Fifteen minutes of your time covers the whole engagement: a few intake questions, then the statement upload.
Both guarantees are settled before you are charged, so a report that misses either one never reaches your invoice.
What it found for one client
A software company ran about $600k a month through its accounts, half of it in foreign currency. On that foreign-currency spend the report found 3 to 5% recoverable, between $108k and $180k a year. The excess cash then went into a USD and CAD T-bill ladder sized to the year's working capital needs, which lifted the yield on that cash by 4 to 5% a year.
What we look for
- FX conversion spreadThe 2 to 3% your bank or card takes on every charge in another currency, annualized into a real figure.
- Subscriptions you forgot you pay forTools nobody opens, seats nobody fills, trials that converted. We list them, you confirm which to keep.
- Price creep on recurring vendorsMid-year increases on the same plan, caught line by line.
- Also: bank fees, processor fees, duplicate charges, dormant cards, and monthly billing that should be annual
What your cash is earning
Your balances against what they could earn, with a plan for the excess: savings accounts, fixed-income funds, or a T-bill ladder sized to your working capital. Reported separately and not counted toward the guarantee.
Tax flags
Foreign-supplier charges and registration exposure worth checking against your invoices.
Every one of these is provable from a statement. We don't claim anything you can't verify yourself.
The deliverable
A line-by-line map of where your money goes, and a short list of what to do about it. Every finding is something you can verify yourself, in your own statements.
The spend map
- Every recurring charge across your cards and bank accounts, categorized and totalled
- The FX line: the 2-3% conversion spread on tools billed in another currency, annualized into a real dollar figure
- Mid-year price creep on recurring charges
- Recurring charges that look unintentional: we flag them, you confirm which ones you meant to keep
- Dormant virtual cards still carrying charges
The action list
- A cut, renegotiate or reclaim call on every line, with the dollar impact of each
- The 3-5 biggest leaks, ranked
- A renewal calendar: every date worth catching before it auto-renews
- A one-page summary you can hand to your co-founder or board
- A 30-minute walkthrough call
How it works
Pay once
One fixed price. If we find less than the price, you get a full refund.
Answer a few questions
Which accounts and cards you use and how you pay your suppliers. It takes a few minutes.
Upload your statements
Bank and card statements, PDF or CSV. If you ran the free scan, those files carry over.
Get your report
Delivered in five business days. One of the Ryze founders then walks you through it on a call.
Optional: give us more, we look deeper.
The statements are all the core report needs. If you want us to go further, you can add either of these, and we'll extend the report at no extra cost:
Your VAT or tax filings.
We check what was filed against what your statements actually show. Missed input credits and over-remitted amounts get flagged with the evidence, ready to act on.
Your account balances.
The idle-cash line gets quantified properly: what your money earned versus what it could have, in real numbers instead of an estimate.
Both are optional and neither adds a day to the five. Skip them and the report ships on statements alone.
Your data
No logins. No live connections. No access to your accounts. You send exported statements, and you can redact account numbers. Files are deleted 30 days after delivery. Ryze is operated by Rise Accounting Services FZ-LLC, a registered accounting firm.
What happens after
You get the report, the action list, and a walkthrough call. Most items on the list are a cancellation email or one supplier conversation, and you decide which ones are worth making. No subscription, nothing recurring.
Who it's for
A fit
- Companies running $20k+ a month through their business accounts
- Companies paying suppliers or tools in a currency their account is not held in: a restaurant importing stock, an agency buying USD tools on a local card
- Anyone who has stopped reading their own card statements line by line
Not a fit
- Companies running under $20k a month through their accounts: the math doesn't clear the fee
- Teams that want someone watching spend continuously: that's a different engagement. The report is one deep pass.
How to find money leaking from your business bank accounts
Export twelve months of statements for every card and bank account you hold, and sort the charges by merchant. Then look for five things.
- 1Any charge in a currency your account is not held in. The conversion spread is 2 to 3% on each one, and it never shows as a separate line.
- 2Any recurring charge whose amount changed during the year on the same plan.
- 3Any subscription you cannot name a current user for.
- 4Any card that still carries charges after the person who held it left.
- 5Any monthly plan the vendor also sells annually at a discount.
That is most of the report. It takes an afternoon if you do it yourself. If you would rather not, send us the statements and one of the Ryze founders does it in five business days, then walks you through it.
FAQ
What service reviews business bank statements for overcharges and hidden fees?
That is what the Cash Recovery Report is. One of the Ryze founders reads 12 months of your bank and card statements line by line and documents every FX conversion markup, forgotten subscription, price increase, duplicate charge and bank or processor fee, with the evidence from your own statements. You get the report and a walkthrough call. $500, delivered in five business days, refunded if we document less than $500 a year in recoverable cash. We work with companies anywhere: the GCC, Canada, the US, the UK and beyond.
How do I find money leaking from my business bank accounts?
Export twelve months of every card and bank statement, sort by merchant, and check for charges in a foreign currency, recurring charges that changed amount, subscriptions with no current user, cards still active after the holder left, and monthly plans that should be annual. The section above walks through each one. If you would rather have it done, the Cash Recovery Report covers all of it in five business days with a walkthrough call.
What exactly do you need?
A few intake questions and 12 months of bank, card and processor statements, exported as PDFs or CSVs. If you have a P&L or a QuickBooks or Xero export, include it and we go deeper. Never required.
Will you see sensitive data?
No bank logins and no credentials, ever. You send exported PDFs or CSVs only, and you can redact account numbers before you send them. Your files live in one named storage location and we delete them 30 days after delivery.
What if you don't find anything?
Then you do not pay. If we cannot document at least $500 a year in annualized recoverable money, we refund you before delivery and send you the findings anyway. The trigger is the documented number, not satisfaction.
Is this a subscription?
No. One time, fixed fee. Nothing recurs afterwards.
How long does it take?
Five business days from the moment your statements land, not from the moment you pay. Most people upload the same day, and the walkthrough call is booked once the report is with you.
Ready to see where your money actually goes?
